World’s Most Exclusive Professional CRE Organization Holds First In-Person Event Since 2020

October 5, 2021 - WASHINGTON, DC - The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR), the world’s premier organization for leading commercial office and industrial real estate professionals, is thrilled to announce its upcoming in-person conference, CREate 360, will be held in Nashville, TN, October 14-16, 2021, at the Renaissance Nashville. Known as the conference “Where Ideas Become Opportunities,” this is SIOR’s first in-person global event since fall 2019.

“Our signature events are some of the most anticipated gatherings in the industry,” says SIOR CEO Robert Thornburgh, SIOR. “Since the start of the pandemic, we have been very fortunate to continue the collaboration and thought-leadership that SIOR is known for by engaging online, including last spring’s TransACT 360 virtual event. Clearly, virtual interaction is here to stay, but nothing is more powerful than creating those invaluable relationships that challenge our thinking and lead us to greater success.”

For 80 years, SIORs have been recognized as the most capable and experienced brokerage practitioners in any market. Hundreds of members will convene at CREate 360 to discuss the latest trends, opportunities, and ongoing challenges facing the commercial real estate industry. No other CRE event offers such incredible access to a group of industry experts, eager to answer the biggest questions about what’s impacting the CRE community today, and what could affect the industry tomorrow.

“The pandemic has created intense swings in the market, with a level of uncertainty we’ve never seen before,” says SIOR Global President Mark Duclos, SIOR. “Through it all, SIOR has been the vehicle of connecting our members to people, knowledge, markets, and opportunities, allowing our members to deliver services that help their clients to make sound, measured decisions.”

As in previous years, guests will also enjoy several keynote speakers during each day’s General Session, offering commentary and insight from some of the biggest names in business, culture, politics, and athletics. This year, SIOR is thrilled to welcome:

  • Pascal Finette, co-founder at Radical Ventures and Singularity University’s Chair for Entrepreneurship & Open Innovation
  • Mick Ebeling, founder and CEO of Not Impossible and an award-winning producer and filmmaker
  • Peter Ricchiuti, professor at Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business and founder of Burkenroad Reports, an investment research program at Tulane University

Please note, media are not able to attend the General Sessions.

However, the media is invited and encouraged to attend the many informative educational sessions, including, but not limited to:
