Mike Honsa joined Equity Commercial Services, the predecessor to Transwestern in the Twin Cities, in 2004. He focuses his work on the development of new business along with the marketing of third party brokerage and tenant representation accounts. Mike provides Transwestern with a strong business background and a teamwork driven approach which is essential to exceeding the expectations of his clients. During his career, Mike has worked on transactions totaling over twelve million square feet. His client list includes Travelers, Wrigleys, Center for Diagnostic Imaging, Interstate Partners, Opus Northwest, Ryan Companies, McGough Construction, Fiserv, IRET, CSM, Equus and Behringer Harvard.

Mike has been responsible for over five million square feet of sale and lease transactions in the past three years. He has been named a Power Broker by Costar for the past six years. In 2008 he was named Rising Star of the Year by the Minnesota Commercial Association of REALTORS (MNCAR). He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Commercial Association of REALTORS and he is a candidate for designation for Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM).
