Brad Ruther specializes in office and medical tenant services, offering clients highly-specialized representation services.

Prior to forming Veterans Commercial Real Estate, Brad began his real estate career with Colliers Turley Martin Tucker in 2001. In April 2005, Brad was recalled from the Individual Ready Reserves to serve in Iraq as an Army Infantry Captain for a year-long combat deployment, where he led 150 Infantrymen as a company commander. A service-disabled veteran, Brad’s military awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Parachutist Badge and the Air Assault Badge.

Brad is a St. Xavier High School graduate, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. At West Point, Brad was runner-up in the Brigade Open Boxing Competition, and was also a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Alpha Theta honor societies. After graduating from West Point in the top 6% of his class, Brad served as both an infantry platoon leader and a heavy weapons platoon leader in the 101st Airborne Division. Upon leaving active duty and entering the civilian world, Brad also served as a rifle company executive officer in the Ohio Army National Guard.

Brad is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR), which has more than 2,700 members worldwide and is a professional designation requiring the highest level of knowledge, production, and ethics in the real estate industry. Brad also received the Rookie of the Year Award for the largest dollar volume transaction worldwide in his first year as a member of SIOR.

Brad is also a licensed broker in the states of Ohio and Kentucky.

Brad and his wife Melissa reside in Cincinnati, Ohio, and have twin second graders. Brad is a member of the Board of Directors for the Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation.
