SIDNEY E. GABLE, CRE, SIOR

Mr. Sidney Gable has been an active Commercial Real Estate Broker for over 55 years. His areas of concentration are industrial and commercial real estate. He has participated in sales, leasing, development and work-out projects. Until April of 1993, Mr. Gable was Director of Brokerage and Corporate Real Estate Services at Strouse, Greenberg & Co., Inc., Philadelphia, PA.

As a Real Estate Counselor he has advised many owners of real estate how to best utilize their asset or dispose of surplus real estate. Many innovative solutions have taken place under Mr. Gable's direction such as the sale of the King of Prussia Industrial Park to a pension fund, the sale of the Exide Battery Facility in Philadelphia for development as Rising Sun Plaza, a shopping center.

Mr. Gable represents many large businesses on a national basis, including Fortune 500 Companies.

Through inter-state cooperation, Sidney E. Gable has earned the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS' Largest Dollar Volume Cooperating Transaction Award for the years 1990, 1991 and 1992.

Mr. Gable was the President of The Philadelphia Board of REALTORS in 1991, and is the past Regional Vice President of the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS (SIOR). He holds the distinction of Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) from the American Society of Real Estate Counselors, and he is a member of the National Association of REALTORS. Mr. Gable served in Mayor W. Wilson Goode’s Advisory Committee to attract and retain corporations in the City of Philadelphia.

Mr. Gable is a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business, where he received a BS degree in Economics. He received an MBA from Drexel University.

In 2007 Sidney announced the largest sale of ground in the city of Philadelphia of 100 acres. Thirty-two acres to the south was sold to Waste Management to serve as a buffer between it and proposed housing development. The land had a purchase price of approximately $14,000,000.00. Sidney E. Gable Associates represented Northern Associates, the seller and Churchill Development Group, LLC, the buyer in this transaction.

Mr. Gable has completed transactions with some of the country's largest firms including General Electric, General Services Administration, General Motors, Ford, City of Philadelphia, Mercedez-Benz, Warner/Elektra, 3M, Unisys, IBM, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Freightliner, Johnson & Johnson, Purina Mills, Durkee French Foods, Reckitt & Coleman Household Products, Sears, Roebuck & Co., and
