Terry started his career as the first employee of Coldwell Banker Commercial in Nashville in 1980. In 1983 he moved to The Mathews Company as Vice President of Sales and Principle Broker of RCM Realty. In April of 2000, Terry and his partner Bert Mathews merged RCM Realty with Nate Greene and Tony Vaughn (NAI Taylor Vaughn and Greene) to become NAI Mathews Partners. In 2010, NAI Nashville became Colliers International.

Terry has over 30 years of experience of working in the commercial, industrial and investment markets in the Middle Tennessee area. In the last 15 years he has been involved in the assemblage, planning, development, and sales of 300 plus acres of multi-use land in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

Terry has also been extremely involved with SIOR. Starting with the local chapters of SIOR and finally serving as SIOR International President for 2013.
