SIOR's Bright Future

Categories:

For those of you who were able to join us in Nashville, you heard about SIOR’s exciting vision. While our organization celebrates its 80th anniversary and has never been stronger, we also remain focused on best-in-class work, new ideas, and bold thinking.

These ideas will extend into everything we do, including our marketing, public relations, attracting the next generation of real estate professionals, and driving our overall visibility as a true global organization.

Another important initiative will be an emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). This means SIOR will be taking a more proactive role in advancing underrepresented individuals across our industry. Our new partnership with CREW Network (Commercial Real Estate Women) and continued work with REEC (Real Estate Executive Council) are only the beginning.

A key part of these efforts also includes ensuring that we provide a welcoming and safe environment for everyone at all SIOR sponsored events. SIOR’s Code of Conduct (PDF) includes a very specific anti-harassment policy and standards for personal conduct. SIOR, as a recognized leader in commercial real estate, will take significant action in addressing any violations of this code. We encourage each of you to review and familiarize yourself with the Code of Conduct.

Looking ahead, SIOR's future has never been brighter. Thank you for your support and helping ensure we remain the leaders in our industry, known not only for our members' professional success, but ethics and conduct in the field.
