Members report more than 2,500 transactions and over $19 billion in volume across the globe

WASHINGTON, DC - SIOR, the world’s premier organization for office and industrial real estate professionals,, has announced its Top 50 Office and Top 50 Industrial Transactions of 2019, all of which are ranked by total square feet. This year, nearly 500 SIOR members reported 2,575 transactions, totaling more than 147 million square feet and USD $19 billion in leases and sales in the industrial, investment, office, land, alternative assets, and redevelopment sectors.

The largest office transaction of 2019 was arranged by Lloyd Cooper, SIOR, of Cushman & Wakefield, for the lease of 858,000 square feet of office space in Montreal, QC, at a price of USD $15.9 million.

The largest industrial transaction of 2019 was for a 40,000,000 square foot lease in Las Vegas, NV, arranged by Amy Ogden, SIOR, of Logic Commercial Real Estate, and Danielle Steffen, SIOR, of Cushman & Wakefield. The price of the deal was $16.9 million.

“The industrial hot streak is still going strong thanks to the last-mile phenomenon and continued consumer demand for speed and efficiency,” said Ogden. “We’re thrilled to be honored amongst our peers during this strong market climate and congratulate all the SIORs who have been working so hard this year,” added Steffen.

SIOR also named honorees for the Top 10 Office Sales Transactions ranked by dollar volume, Top 10 Office Lease Transactions ranked by total square feet, Top 10 Office Investment Transactions ranked by dollar volume, and Top 10 Industrial Investment Transactions ranked by dollar volume.
