Joe Stance is the founder and principal of Stance Commercial Real Estate, an independent brokerage firm based in the City of Riverside, California. With a career in commercial real estate that began in 2007, Joe brings a depth of experience in industrial, office, retail and investment property transactions across the region.

Before launching Stance CRE, Joe spent a decade with nationally recognized brokerage firms, building a strong foundation in client service and deal execution. In 2018, he stepped out in faith with his wife and co-founder, to create a brokerage that reflected their shared values—serving others the way they’d want to be served, and doing business with courage, integrity, and purpose.

Joe earned his CCIM designation in 2020 and now serves as the incoming 2026 President of the CCIM Southern California Chapter. He is a passionate advocate for education, leadership, and mentorship within the CRE industry. Joining SIOR represents a deeply meaningful milestone in his career—especially as the leader of an independent firm.
