22 year veteran of the commercial real estate industry with a practice involving investment analysis, project feasibility, leasing/marketing programs, and development pre-leasing in a variety of US markets.

Practice includes tenant representation and landlord representation. Involved in leasing of over 6.5 million square feet of office/medical and mixed-use product, completing transactions involving more than 4.0 million square feet for a gross total consideration of $250 million dollars.

Aaron Barnard is a 20 year veteran of the commercial real estate industry. His proven track record in landlord representation services includes the leasing and disposition of numerous offi ce/medical and retail properties. He is known as a strategic advisor to investment and corporate clients, providing real estate solutions on a local and national level. Aaron’s practice involves specifi c areas of expertise including investment analysis, project feasibility, leasing and marketing programs, and strategic corporate real estate services in a variety of markets. Throughout

his career, he has been involved in landlord representation assignments totaling more than 5 million square feet of offi ce/medical and mixed-use product and has completed transactions involving more than 3 million square feet. Institutional clients such as Cargill, Colonnade Properties, Fairfi eld Financial Services, GE Investment Corp., IRET, Kraus Anderson, Opus, Ryan, Sentinel Real Estate Corp. and WP Carey have all benefi ted from his expertise. Aaron’s service platform also includes a strong following of local and national tenant representation clients, such as Fresenius Biomedical, GE Capital, Kimberly Clark, Sears/K-Mart, The State of Minnesota and Wells Fargo.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefi eld/NorthMarq, Aaron was Vice President for Grubb & Ellis|Northco Real

Estate Services where he was responsible for serving a variety of national fi rms with their retail estate needs.

Aaron joined Cushman & Wakefi eld in 2007 through the fi rm’s acquisition of Northstar Partners where he was

frequently tapped for his strategic approach to client development.

Aaron is an active member of numerous professional real estate organizations, including the Society of

Industrial and Offi ce Realtors and the CCIM Institute, from which he holds the SIOR and CCIM designations,

respectively. Additionally, Aaron served as the 2012 SIOR Minnesota Chapter President and 2008 President of the Minnesota/Dakotas CCIM Chapter. Aaron serves on both the SIOR Foundation as a Trustee and the SIOR Young Professionals Committee. Aaron is also a graduate of the Jay W. Levine Leadership

Development Academy (CCIM), a select group of members chosen to further develop their leadership skills through

CCIM. He is a member of the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR), Minnesota

Association of Realtors (MAR), and the Saint Paul Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). In

2008, Barnard achieved status as one of the “Top 5 Brokers” by Cushman & Wakefi eld of Minnesota and also

received the fi rm’s “Transaction of the Year” award. In 2007, Barnard was recognized as a “Top 10 Offi ce

Broker” by The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
