David Lockwood is an Executive Vice President and the Chief Operating Officer of Colliers International in South Carolina. His primary areas of expertise include brokerage management with a concentration on developing business for the firm. His areas of specialization include marketing strategies, transaction strategy and negotiation and consulting.

David is a 30+ year designee of the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS®. He has served in numerous leadership capacities of SIOR including serving as Chairman of the Carolinas Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS®.. David is currently the 2022-2023 President-Elect of SIOR Global. David is currently the President of SIOR Global.

David has been recognized numerous times for his service to the REALTORS® Association and is a past recipient of the South Carolina REALTORS® Association’s, REALTORS® of the Year Award, Central Carolina REALTORS® Association’s REALTORS® of the Year Award, the President’s Excellence Program Award and the Grassroots REALTORS® of the Year Award. David has served as the President of the Central Carolina REALTORS® Association and the South Carolina REALTORS® Association. He served on the Executive Committee of the National Association of REALTORS® for nine years. He is currently a Board Member for National Associations of REALTORS® Second Century Ventures.

David recently completed serving nine years as a Commissioner to the South Carolina Real Estate Commission representing the 2nd Congressional District. He served as Vice Chair of the Commission in 2021-2022. David also serves on the Clemson University Board of Visitors and Chairs the Student Affairs Committee of the Board of Visitors.
