Carey Anderson is recognized as a top producer in WNY commercial real estate specializing in office sales and leasing. Carey has participated as a client advocate in some of the area’s largest and most visible deals including the sale of the 130,000sf Federal Reserve Bank building, Medaille College, the Butler Mansion on behalf of TRW and the leasing of Tyco’s asset on the Waterfront.
Her clients include some of the largest organizations in WNY. As tenant rep, Carey represented the Government of Canada in the negotiation of the Consulate General’s office in Buffalo. She has also served as tenant rep for multi-national companies and has been engaged in the disposition and acquisition of space in 45 cities, 27 state/provinces.
Prior to her family’s move to Buffalo, Carey worked in senior management for The Financial Post of Canada and started her sales/client service career as American Can’s first woman in beer and beverage can sales.
Carey has been a member of SIOR for 8 years and has taken advantage of her membership by being active in the Society’s programs, conferences and committees (Member Retention, Diversity, COPS). Carey is President of the Upstate New York Chapter of SIOR. (2012-14)
An active community volunteer, Carey has served in leadership positions on a number of Boards and committees including United Way, YMCA, SPCA and the US Squash Association.
