Jeanne Rogers, CCIM, SIOR is a leader in the Chicago-area commercial real estate community, and has been in the business of corporate real estate for more than 30 years. The many corporations, growing businesses and real estate investors who have benefited from Ms. Rogers’ expertise include household names such as J.P. Morgan (American National Bank and Bank One), Ingersoll Rand, DHL, Exel, ASSA ABLOY Group, Perma Steelisa, AT&T, IAC, GRM and Public Storage. Specializing in finding innovative solutions to complex real estate needs, Rogers has closed more than $900 million in commercial real estate transactions during her career.

Rogers joined Arthur J. Rogers & Co. in 1977 and is responsible for the sales and leasing of industrial and commercial properties. She is experienced in working with institutions, investment groups, lenders, property owners and tenants. She has assisted many owners and tenants in build-to-suits, re-positioning or disposition of properties, vacant land and multiple-building campuses.

Rogers graduated from Drake University in 1974. In 1981, she earned her CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation from the National Association of Realtors, and became only the fourth woman, at that time, in Illinois to achieve one of the highest commercial real estate industry designations. Subsequently, Rogers earned the Society of International and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation, joining an elite group of individuals nationally that have earned both titles.

Ms. Rogers has represented clients in over $700 million worth of real estate transactions. Below are a few examples of transactions. Please refer to the success stories portion of this document for additional detail and examples.

• Albert H. Wohlers & Co. Advised the company in the purchase and build out of a 58,000 square foot office building and in the sale of a 24,000 square foot office building and a 10,000 square foot office building.

• Allied Van Lines. Advised this Fortune 500 Company in the sale of 100,000 square foot office building.

• American National Bank. The requirement included the disposition of three buildings totaling approximately 370,000 square feet of REO industrial buildings with environmental issues and a 14-acre undeveloped site.

• ASSA ABLOY Group. Represented this company in a 116,300 square foot lease/buyout.

• Bisco Dental Products. Advised this firm in the disposition of owned real estate asset (a 25,000 square foot flexible-use property), and the purchase of and relocation to a new 91,000 square foot building.

• Citation (Sold). 86,000 square foot manufacturing facility.

• Dana Corporation. Sold an office campus of 338,000 square feet to private investor.

• DHL. Coordinated and assisted this multi-national company in the disposing and sub-leasing of excess properties. Also handled all lease renewals and new location searches and negotiations for well over 500,000 square feet of transactions.

• DHL Subleases. Subleased 65,000 sf to AT&T. Negotiated them off 7 year lease commitment

• DHL DGF ORD Have represented and advised in Illinois and NW Indian for the past seven years including currently analyzing a lease renewal vs. a build to suit scenario in regards to the best economic long and short term scenarios for a 465,000 SF distribution facility. Negotiated Economic Incentives with the City of Chicago and Cook County with the end result of a 500,000 SF built to suit facility on O’Hare Airport land.

• Exel Have represented and advised this multinational corporation for almost 25 year in the Chicago Metropolitan Area, including NW Indiana and SE Wisconsin with their Real Estate Requirements: Including the execution of two build-to-suit transactions totaling over 1,000,000 square feet, and including a highly complex site selection process, a 400,000 square foot lease, and a 300,000 square foot lease to meet the needs of their consumer-goods industry clients, along with numerous site searches and leases.

• GeoLogistics. Represent this national company in multiple leases and subleases needs throughout the country, and serve as ongoing real estate advisor.

• GRM. Assisted this national record storage company expand their real estate portfolio with a 300,000 square foot purchase to accommodate their successful growth in the Chicago Market.

• Ingersoll Rand. Executed a 630,000 square foot building sale.

• MAHS. Advised this firm in the execution of a 100-door build-to-suit transaction of a truck terminal in Sauk Village within 120 days.

• MCSi. Advised and negotiated on behalf of this firm in the purchase of a 30,000 square foot office building in Chicago and a 45,000 square foot lease in Milwaukee.

• Merchants Home Delivery Service. Worked with Merchants on multiple transactions totaling over 300,000 square feet, including the execution of two build-to-suit transactions.

• Pickfords Records Management. Assisted with the sale and leasing of three properties totaling over 385,000 square feet.

• United States General Services Administration (GSA). Negotiated for the GSA on a 50,000 square foot medical office facility.

• Wabtec. Negotiated a 130,000 square foot lease.
