SIOR is committed to increasing equity in the commercial real estate industry. But being committed isn't enough. That's why we are excited to announce that we have joined the CREW Network's CRE Pledge for Action to support the advancement of women and underrepresented individuals in the commercial real estate industry. By supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), SIOR is aiding the progress of individuals otherwise underrepresented due to, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, ability, religion, and age.

By pledging our commitment to advance women and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the industry, we are aiming to achieve the following four goals, as laid out by CREW:

1. Close the compensation gap in our industry by conducting a pay equity study in our company.
2. Increase inclusion through senior executive sponsorship of women and/or other individuals in underrepresented groups within the company.
3. Advance women to top roles to achieve gender diversity in leadership.
4. Increase diversity in our company by intentionally recruiting and hiring individuals from diverse backgrounds.
