Nick McCalmont-Woods, MRICS, SIOR - Founder & Principal - is a Chartered Surveyor with deep sector expertise in London's prime office market. Prior to founding McCalmont-Woods Real Estate as an independent specialist occupier advisory firm in early 2008, Nick worked at Jones Lang Wootton/JLL (Partner) for c.16 years and at GVA Grimley (Equity Partner) for c.7 years, in the City of London. Notable achievements include conceiving and delivering the first office pre-let agreed "off-plan" in the City of London - an industry first. A member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 1985, Nick’s leadership extends to co-founding the Tenant Representation Advisors Society, promoting excellence in tenant advocacy in London, and serving on the Board of FIDES, a trusted independent network for financial and professional services organisations. He serves as Chair of ITRA Global, the global tenant advocacy powerhouse for conflict-free occupier representation and is an International Member of SIOR (European Regional Chapter). Nick has twice (2021 & 2024) completed SIOR Europe's's top office transaction at $45.67M and $63.15M respective deal value. Nick graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Estate Management.
