WASHINGTON, D.C. — October 6, 2026 — The Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® (SIOR) has promoted Karin Fendrich, CPA, CAE, to Chief Financial and Operating Officer (CFOO), recognizing her five years of exceptional leadership and contributions to the organization.
In her expanded role, Fendrich will oversee SIOR’s financial operations while continuing to lead key organizational functions, including Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal and Professional Standards. Her expanded responsibilities reflect her deep knowledge of the organization and her track record of strengthening operations and advancing strategic priorities.
During her tenure with SIOR, Fendrich has played a pivotal role in strengthening the organization’s financial operations, including successfully bringing accounting and finance functions in-house. The transition has enhanced efficiency, oversight and strategic alignment while supporting SIOR’s long-term financial health and sustainability.

Fendrich has more than 35 years of experience in financial and operational leadership. Prior to joining SIOR, she served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for National Trade Productions for seven years, overseeing financial operations, strategic planning and business operations supporting large-scale trade show and event portfolios. She previously spent five years with Hargrove, a leading experiential event company, where she contributed to financial management and operational excellence supporting nationally recognized events and brand experiences.
Fendrich began her accounting career at age 17, having known from a young age that she wanted to pursue the profession. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Association Executive (CAE) issued by the American Society of Association Executives.
