Minimum Experience for Industrial and Office (Dual) Specialists:

Individuals should have a minimum of five years of active engagement in commercial real estate and be a full time active practitioner.

 
 

Demonstrate a credible record of experience in industrial and/or office real estate brokerage, sales, leasing, transaction management, or marketing for the most recent 48 months by completing the International Production Verification Affidavit.

Provide a current copy of a CV or resume that includes information on education and coursework, past employment, real estate experience, professional accreditations, and client names.

Provide formal nominations from two Active Designee Members.

Exception: If the applicant does not know two Active Members, one endorsement can be from a senior executive within the applicant’s firm. In addition, if there are less than three Active Members in the applicant’s country, s/he may obtain endorsements from two Active Members within the same firm or network.


Uphold high ethical standards of practice and pledge to uphold SIOR's Code of Ethical Principles and Standards of Professional Practice by either

  1. Completing SIOR’s online ethics course, or
  2. Holding the RICS Designation.

  • Application Fee: $175 (non-refundable)
  • Annual Dues: $675 (first year prorated)

SIOR Chapter Membership and Dues

Chapter Membership is required and contingent upon approval of membership in SIOR. SIOR Designees (aka Active Individuals), Member Associates, and Associate Members within a Chapter's jurisdiction must fulfill applicable Chapter dues. Please contact the local Chapter for dues requirements.
