Mr. Smith holds a BS in Real Estate/Finance from SDSU and has over 30 years of experience in brokerage, development, investments, and lending, completing over $1B in real estate transactions during this time.

Mr. Smith has syndicated (2) hedge funds and (12) single purpose entities generating success in speculative development, value add and land entitlement opportunities in California throughout San Diego and Riverside Counties.

Mr. Smith Co-Founded Southern California Investors, Inc. in 2004 and achieved double-digit returns for investors over the course of 10 years. Commercial real estate opportunities exceeded 750,000 SF throughout his reign as Co-Founder & CEO. Significant projects include:

During 2010 to 2014, Mr. Smith guided SCI through new market opportunities, as residential foreclosures became the market spotlight. Completing over 400 auction focused “fix & flip” single-family properties with a combined valued over $200M, Mr. Smith utilized a proprietary Trust Deed investor program originating over $88M in loans with 100% payback resulting in the highest returns of his career. In March 2015, Mr. Smith sold his shares of SCI and launched RMS Capital Solutions to pursue his passion for private lending to borrowers looking to create wealth through real estate investing. RMS Capital is a Direct Lender in the residential Fix-N-Flip marketplace throughout California.
