William Holly is the President of Patton Real Estate, a Miami based, full service commercial real estate firm. With over 20 years of commercial real estate experience in Florida, Mr. Holly was recognized in 2013 as the Leasing Agent of the Year, in Miami by the Building Owners and Management Association. He also was awarded the Office Building Sale of the Year in 2014 by the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).
William Holly previously has earned national accolades including, being named one of the top Commercial Real Estate Executives in the United States under 40 by Building Construction and Engineering; he was awarded the 2007 Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and he was named one of the Top Ten “Hot Brokers” in the U.S. by Commercial Property News.
William Holly has represented over $2 billion in transactions and has been responsible for 12 building naming and signage rights in Miami during his career. In addition, Mr. Holly has represented 20 class A office buildings in the Miami market and owns the Class A pre-lease records for The Coral Gables, Brickell, and Miami Beach sub-markets.
Mr. Holly has a broad range of national expertise in the commercial real estate market including brokerage and development of office buildings, mixed use buildings, residential condominiums and multi-family projects. Prior to founding Patton Real Estate, Mr. Holly was the President of Pointe Group, where he brought the firm from an unranked entity to the top 5 ranked property management firm in South Florida and the brokerage firm to top 20 status in South Florida. Pointe Group was sold to Colliers International Group in 2016. Mr. Holly previously founded Holly Real Estate, a full service commercial real estate firm for which he was awarded the prestigious 2006 Business of the Year Award by Regions Bank and The South Florida Business Journal. Mr. Holly led the Insignia ESG/ Miami office and began his career at the Codina Bush Group.
Mr. Holly plays an active role in the South Florida Community. He is a founding shareholder of Florida Gulf Bank and Coral Gables Trust. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and the Brickell Area Association and is the current Chairman of the Board for the Patton Real Estate Foundation. Mr. Holly is the past Chairman of the Ransom Everglades Board of Trustees, the past President of the Brickell Area Association and the past Chairman of the Historical Museum of Southern Florida (History Miami). Mr. Holly has served as a councilman on the Coconut Grove Village Council (1999, 2000) and is the past Senior Warden at St. Phillips Church in Coral Gables. Mr. Holly graduated from Florida State University.
