Tyler Smith is based in Charleston, SC, and is an industrial real estate advisor focused on a broad range of
opportunities for industrial investors and occupiers across the Carolinas and Georgia.
For investors, he specializes in value-add opportunities, industrial outdoor storage (IOS), shallow-bay industrial,
and development projects. For tenants, he has experience in leasing, site selection, and multi-market portfolio
management across industrial platforms.
Tyler began his career in commercial real estate at JLL in 2020, executing institutional agency assignments and
representing Fortune 500 occupiers, before joining Avison Young in 2026 to expand his platform across the
Carolinas and Georgia.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
