After many many years with Block Real Estate Services (BRES) serving as Director of Brokerage, Development Director of Horizons Business park and assisting with many of Block's prolific Industrial Development, Lou is now the managing member and Director of Development for Mike Christie's 280 acre development at K-10 and Ridgeview in Lenexa, Kansas.

Lou began his real estate career in 1984. For 35 Years, Lou has specialized in the leasing, sales and development of Industrial and Office Properties. In addition, he has managed selected commercial Holdings. Lou’s real estate knowledge and experience has resulted in him being recognized as one of Kansas City’s elite real estate professionals.

Lou is a member of the Society of Industrial Office Realtors (SIOR), National Association of Realtors (NAR) and Realtors Commercial Alliance (RCA). Professionally, Lou has served on the Board of Directors for the Metropolitan Board of Realtors and is a lifetime Million Dollar Club member. Lou has also been a member of the Lenexa Economic Development Council and a past Board Director for the Lenexa Chamber. Lou served for 16 years as a city councilman in the City of Lenexa from 1989 to 1997 and 2011 to 2018. I

Prior to his career as an Industrial Realtor, Lou was a successful college and high school football coach. Lou is a member of the Missouri Valley College Athletic Hall of Fame and also serves on the Hall of Fame Board of Directors. Lou is also an avid handball player, serves on the KCAC Board of Directors and is a Member of the Missouri State Handball Hall of Fame.
