About
Marc A. Lawson is the Managing Partner at PrinGroup Commercial who specializes in industrial properties and buyer/seller representation. Marc has been instrumental in growing PrinGroup into a well respected boutique industrial commercial brokerage. Marc joined PrinGroup in 2016 when he moved back to Houston from New York.
Prior to joining PrinGroup, Marc co-founded Trident Group, a military veteran executive placement firm headquartered in New York City that specializes in placing the top echelon of transitioning military talent into Fortune 500 Companies and Wall Street where he is still a partner. As a recruiter for the Navy it was a natural segue to start a veteran recruiting company.
Marc was stationed in NYC as the recruiting officer in charge of 11 recruiting stations and was responsible for all navy enlisted sailors and naval officers joining the navy through Manhattan and Queens from October 2011 – December 2015.
Previous to NYC, he served five years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the Navy and had assignments in Virginia Beach and Bahrain. During these assignments he went on three deployments in four years to the Middle East and Africa leading ship boardings and anti-piracy operations as a Boarding Officer. During his last two deployments he served as the XO, Navigator, and Weapons Officer onboard PC Crew Delta.
Marc is originally from Sugar Land, Texas, and is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He was recruited to play football and holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. Marc currently resides in West U with his wife Whitney Kuhn Lawson, their son Patton, daughter Weezie, and Otis their King Charles Cavalier. He is an avid Texans, Rockets, Astros, and Naval Academy football fan and enjoys traveling with his family and playing golf.
