About
Robert Scherreik has been the Executive Managing Director of Pyramid Brokerage Company’s Hudson Valley office located in Newburgh, NY since 2012, where he manages operations in the lower and mid-Hudson Valley. From 1987 to 2012, he was Vice President and Principal of McBride Corporate Real Estate, Inc. Prior to that, he was a financial executive with General Motors Corporation from 1980 to 1985.
Robert is a 1976 graduate of Georgetown University, where he earned his BSFS in International Economics and his MBA from the University of Michigan in 1980. He has earned designations for CCIM (Commercial Investment Institute), Active Industrial and Active Office designations from SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors), and the MCR designation (Master in Corporate Real Estate) from CORENET.
During the past five years, Robert brokered the sale or leasing of over 3,000,000 sq. ft. of industrial space, over 350,000 sq. ft. of office space, over $180 million of apartments, and over 2,000 acres of residential and commercial land, the aggregate value of which was over $500 million.
His client roster includes Raytheon Technologies, IBM Corporation, Georgia-Pacific Corporation, Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, M&T Bank, Watchtower Bible & Tract Society, NYU Medical Center, the YMCA of Greater NY, Community Products LLC, and Nexans Corporation.
He has been active in his community, serving as Chairman and Trustee of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce (1988 - 2002); Vice Chairman & Trustee of the Elant, Inc. Senior Care System (1994-2014); Trustee of Arden Hill Hospital (1994-2000); Committee Chairman, Boys Scouts of America - Troop 388 (2013-2019); and President and Officer, Industrial & Office Real Estate Brokers Assn. of NY Metropolitan Area (1990-1997). He is also President of Lake Iosco Company, a residential community in northern NJ, where he lives with his wife and two sons.
