Company (Affiliate) Member Admission Process
Prepare an Application
- Review and confirm eligibility of the requirements.
- Appoint up to two delegates from the applicant's office location.
Submit an Application
- Obtain 2 nominations: One nomination must come from a Chapter Officer (president, vice president, secretary, or treasurer). You will send the nomination form by selecting your nominators’ names on page 3 of the application.
- Submit Full Application Once nominations have been submitted, you will be notified to begin completing the rest of application.
- Chapter Interview: The chapter admissions chair has 30 days to do the interview.
- Chapter Vote: Electronic vote lasting 10 business days. All designees in chapter will vote yes, no, or abstain on your application. If 21% or more members vote no, your application will be rescinded.
- Release of Names: Your names will be placed on an email to all SIOR members, who will be given a chance to submit feedback
- Membership Approval
Applicants from Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico do not fall within a Chapter’s jurisdiction. The Chapter interview will be conducted by the appropriate Regional Director and the nominations can be from any Active SIOR Active Individual member outside of the applicant’s firm or network.
