Stefan is a senior member of the Canadian Capital Markets National Investment Team, advising institutional and private investors in CRE dispositions and acquisitions coast to coast. He has nearly 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, including 14 years as a broker and five years in leadership as C&W’s former Market Leader for the Greater Toronto Area and Broker of Record.

In working directly with some of the firm’s most important investor clients, Stefan brings a rich understanding of the tenant-landlord relationship, value creation, asset positioning and market understanding in both urban and suburban environments across all asset classes. He is active in various industry associations, including acting Treasurer of SIOR Canadian Central Chapter and a member of the Diversity & Inclusivity committee sponsored by a consortium of industry associations including NAIOP, REALPAC, ULI, SIOR, BOMA and Crew.

Born in Vancouver, BC, raised in St. Catharines, ON, Stefan and his family reside in Toronto. You can regularly find him walking his dog in Etobicoke’s Sunnylea neighbourhood, attending sports activities across the city with his children, enjoying a Blue Jays game, or hiking parts of the Bruce Trail north of the city in The Beaver Valley where he enjoys outdoor activities throughout the year. Stefan leads an active lifestyle with his wife and three kids, enjoying skiing, hiking, baseball and cycling. He is also a committed musician in his lifelong pursuit of mastering classical guitar.

After graduating from Queen’s University in 1995, Stefan began a career in communications and marketing in the technology industry, working with several entrepreneurial software/IT companies and eventually TELUS. In 2003, he launched into the commercial real estate industry where he became a successful office leasing broker in the Greater Toronto Area suburban market, building a team and developing expertise in agency leasing, tenant rep advisory and building sales. From 2016 to 2021, Stefan became the Market Leader for Cushman & Wakefield ULC in the Greater Toronto Area, leading the firm and it’s more than 800 employees in the GTA through an incredible period in its history that included the merger of DTZ and C&W, going public in 2018 and the acquisitions of Ashlar Urban and 20 Vic Management.
