S.J. Financial Group , Inc. formed April, 1990 which specialized in Brokerage Sales and Mortgage Placement through various sources both banks and institutional lenders throughout out the Continental United States. Was in banking in the 1970’s and became Managing Partner of a New York Based CMBS Lender in the late 1990’s which offered Full Service Long Term Loans we originated, underwrote, approved and funded under the supervision of New York office.

Our emphasis include all investment sales for multi family, industrial, retail and office. We have through the years been a firm that had relationships and offered quality assets “Below the Radar”.

Received my CCIM Designation in 2001 #9778, and received my SIOR Designation in 2007, served on our local CCIM Board since 2006, CCIM Chapter President in 2012, CCIM Member of the Year in 2013 and Past Regional Vice President (“RVP”) for the CCIM Institute in 2016. Elected to serve from 2017-2020 to the St Louis Association of Realtors Board of Directors. April, 2018 received CCIM Foundation Endowment Award.

Have closed over $750,000,000 in Sales, represented numerous clients in retail, industrial, office and multi family. Have advised and consulted on numerous occasions many 1031 exchange buyers and sellers.

Since 1972 worked for a local bank in the commercial lending department which gave me tremendous experience and went onto work for Equitable Life in 1978 in the commercial finance area until I became an independent contract in 1981where I started and formed my own company placing loans and eventually became a real estate broker, in the late 1990's was Managing Partner of a CMBS Lender directly lending on commercial property which gave me an understanding how to underwrite loan transactions eventually that company went out of business and continued lending through forming a mortgage broker company as well as runing a commercial real estate brokerage firm to this date. I became a CCIM in 2001 and received my SIOR in 2007 which has enhanced my relationships with various clients I work with. Most of my transaction are "Below the radar Screen" that was done through repeat and referals.
