Since 1981, Don Ossey, SIOR has successfully represented buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants in negotiating over 1000 industrial and investment transactions with an aggregate total of over $1 billion representing over 35 million square feet. Don is consistently one of the top industrial brokers in Portland and was awarded the Commercial Brokers Association 2013 Industrial Broker of the Year.

Don achieved the SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors) designation in 1995. SIOR members are recognized worldwide as leaders in the commercial real estate profession. Don is very active on a national level within SIOR and is currently a member of the faculty of instructors teaching the designation course in construction and sustainable development all around the country. Don was named SIOR instructor of the year in 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019.

Don is a loyal Duck fan with a degree from the University of Oregon School of Architecture. Don has dedicated many years to supporting the University of Oregon and 25 years as co-chairman of the Oregon Club of Portland annual golf tournament held in June at Pumpkin Ridge. In 2010 the Ducks honored Don with the Harold Taylor Lifetime Achievement Award.

Don is a Portland native and lifelong Oregonian and has been married to Katherine for 36 years. Together they have raised their daughter Nicole (35) who lives in Camas, WA and their son Stephen (32) who works as an industrial broker with Don at Capacity Commercial Group in Portland. Don is an avid golfer and member of Waverley Country Club in Portland. He loves music, travel and great wine!
