Following military training after graduation, Jerry managed chambers of commerce in two small towns in Texas where he honed his skills in the community economic development process.
As a result, Jerry was asked to serve as the Economic Development Director for the State of Texas working with Texas communities to attract business and manufacturing to the state.
Jerry began his career in industrial real estate in Austin Texas and helped lay the ground work for Austin's regional success today. Much of his work has been with communities within 50 miles of Austin along Interstate 35. Jerry has been involved with acquisitions and dispositions of real estate for companies such as Samsung Semiconductor; Air Products; Xycarb; Butler Manufacturing; El Milagro; WL Gore Associates; Manitex; Schlumberger; Panabrasives; Genlyte; McCoy's; Flight Safety, and others.
