May 10, 2016—WASHINGTON, DC—SIOR recently elected its 2017 officers during its Spring World Conference in San Diego, CA. The elected officers will be installed in New York, NY, prior to the SIOR Fall World Conference in October.

At that time, SIOR's current President-Elect, Geoffrey M. Kasselman, SIOR, LEED AP, Chicago, IL, will assume office as SIOR President. The current Vice President, Del C. Markward, SIOR, Allentown, PA, will become President-Elect.

Robert G. Thornburgh, SIOR, CCIM, CPM, Los Angeles, CA, has been elected as SIOR's Vice President. After serving a one-year term as Vice President, Thornburgh will serve as President-Elect for a year and then step into the Presidency of SIOR in the fall of 2018.

The following were elected to serve on SIOR’s Board of Directors as Members-at-Large: Mark J. Duclos, SIOR, Hartford, CT; Patrick J. Sentner, SIOR, Pittsburgh, PA; and J. Peter Whatmore, SIOR, London, ON.  

The following SIOR members were also elected to serve as Regional Directors for a two-year term: Central Regional Director- Christopher R. Fox, SIOR, CCIM, St. Louis, MO; Mid-Atlantic Regional Director- Jeffrey A. Deitrick, SIOR, Pittsburgh, PA; Northwest Regional Director- Michael A. Jeppesen, SIOR, CCIM, LEED AP, Salt Lake City, UT; Southeast Regional Director- J. Bryan Rudisill, SIOR, CCIM, Chattanooga, TN; Southwest Regional Director- Albert M. McNeel, SIOR, San Antonio, TX.

In addition, David L. Liebman, SIOR, JD, LEED Green Associate, Chicago, IL will be serving the first year of a two-year term as Speaker of the Chapter Leadership Council, and David L. Schiller, SIOR, Buffalo, NY was elected Speaker-Elect of the Council.
